One piece is an anime that has been on-going for quite a
long time. I believe that it has gone on for so long because it is funny and
has a great storyline. Luffy, the main character, is a pirate crew’s captain.
He actually started out with nothing but passion to be a pirate king and
determination from his friend, Shanks.
Surprisingly, Luffy’s weird or maybe unique personality were
able to recruit many different types of crew members. All of them are very
strong and very important friend of his. I feel that he has the all for one and
one for all attitude which makes me admire him.
The story of the anime is very entertaining although the
episodes are pretty short to me. Whenever I watch this anime, I cannot help but
burst laugh or have some tears in my eyes as it is very touching. Many emotions
were brought out of me as I watch this anime. The crew itself also have many
crew members with interesting personalities.
The Straw Hat Crew (Luffy’s pirate crew name), will not be
the way it is without every member. I like Chopper in the anime the most. He is
the doctor in the crew and is not human. He is a reindeer, often mistaken as a
racoon dog. He is very cute and also very funny at the same time.

Today I will be introducing you all another ongoing anime series. However
before I start, I will kindly inform y’all that this anime that I am going to
introduce is a boys’ love anime. So those who are uncomfortable with same gender
relationship, please kindly skip this review as it may cause you some discomfort.

Now that I have given
you the warning, I shall begin with my post for today. The anime that I am
going to introduce to you all is Love Stage! .
This anime is about a
college student named Izumi Sena who is an Otaku ( someone who loves to read
manga and watch animes) too.
However, Izumi is not
an ordinary college students. Even though he may look dull and boring, he is
born into a famous and super-talented family as his father, mother and brother
are all very famous in the entertainment industry. Izumi always wanted to be a
mangaka ( someone who draws comics) ever since he saw an anime character –
“Magical Girl Lala Lulu”.
But one day, he was
asked to act in a sequel of an wedding advertisement that he was casted in ten
years prior… as a girl. However, he would have to act as a female again. ( Want
to know what happen? You will know it once you watch the anime). After much
protest by Izumi, he finally accept this job where he winds up in an awkward
moment with his co-star, Ryouma Ichijou ( who is a very famous actor and singer
in the show). What awkward moment did they ended up in? Stay tuned to this
anime to know.
For this anime, I
have only know about it when I first seen the teaser for this anime. Most of my
friends believed that Izumi is a girl however, I know that Izumi is a guy
immediately once he came out in the teaser.(He is a wedding dress and long hair
wig) Okay let put these details aside and get to the real point. I have
immediately fallen in love with this anime the moment I finished watching the
first episode. I totally love the comedic (and cute) scenes that this anime has.
The voice actors
portray their characters very well, which made me laugh a lot as they have used
unique voices to help the viewer to understand the story better. I am very
surprise that the voice actor of Izumi is able to make those inaudible speech.

Akuma no Riddle is a Assassination type of anime. There are
12 Assassins in the class built on to kill 1 of themselves to get a wish as a
reward. But Soon, one of the 12 assassins becomes the target’s protector
instead. It’s an Action, School, Yuri type of anime. Since it’s a type of anime
focused about assassins, There are some blood and gore, but not too much.
Characters 8/10
Out of 11 out of 12 of the characters, each of them bare something in common,
they have the same common emotion to kill. Each of them showed the same
devilish face with the intention to kill. Even though they all have the same
thing in common, they all have their individual personalities well.
Animation and Sound 7/10
The Animation and Sound of this average. The Emotions of the characters were
displayed well whether they are sad or happy or crazy. The Sound was good and the
voice actors displayed well and good emotion.
Enjoyment 8/10
I enjoyed this anime as in each episode, I wanted to know what will happen in
the next. It builds up so well especially wanting to know what will happen to
each and every one of the assassins along the way. Everyone also has a
different way of killing the target, which makes it enjoyable even more.
Overall 7.5/10
It is a great anime to be looking forward to especially when it was on-going. After
going through the first 2 episodes, the story started to pick up and each of
their characters have their own time to shine. Overall, I liked this anime and I
was able to remember each of their characters well.
Synopsis
Set two years after the events of Final Fantasy VII, Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockheart was called by Rufus Shinra, Shinra Company Former President. He ask Cloud to stop the manifestations of Sephiroth, a former SOLDIER of Shinra Company, Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo. However, Cloud refused to help Rufus. Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo planned to resurrect Sephiroth using the remains of Jenova, an Extraterrestrial. The three then abducted the GeoStigma , a disease, infected children so that they can reunite with Jenova. Now Cloud and his friends have to rescue the children and stop the three to save the city of Edge.
My Review
Final Fantasy VII Advent Children is an anime movie that is set a couple of years after the events of the Final Fantasy VII franchise. The movie tells the story of what has happen after the defeat of Septhiroth. The world was turn in turmoil as a new disease, with no cure, spread across the newly build city "Edge". Cloud Strife return as the main character together with Tifa Lockheart and his another companions. The plot of the movie was understandable but it can confuse people who did not play the game, as it follows up from the game itself. However, the flashy and exciting fighting scenes were so spectacular that I find myself rewinding and re-watching the scenes again. Other than the fighting scene, the story was not rushed but I felt like that could have made the story better. The movie have a good soundtrack and also used the most memorable soundtrack from the game itself. Overall, Advent Children is a good anime movie to watch and i recommend this movie to anyone, specially the Final Fantasy VII fans. I rate this movie 8 / 10.
This anime is the first anime that I watched. This story revolves
about this organization called Afterlife Battlefront (SSS) in a special
world. The people who come into this world, have some lingering attachment
about something or someone. They felt that they have died unjustly. They come
to this world to realize what gain the memories of the lingering attachment and
learn to move on and forgot about those attachment. If they manage to do so,
they will move on and became NPC (who are students and teachers in the world).
However, Afterlife Battlefront feel that god is unfair to them that this thing
happen to them. They decided fight against the God. In this case, they think
that it is the head of the student leader (Angel).
This anime is a fantasy and supernatural that is
action-packed. The conflict between Angel and SSS are very fierce. Despite
that, the problem of the god continue. Some of the member managed to put down
the attachment and became NPC. I personally feel that the plot is good if you
are a big fan of fantasy or supernatural. It describe unfair thing that happen
to people. It may be man-made or natural. The feeling is well describe in this
story.
The design and animation is one of the big selling point of
this anime. I like that classical design of most anime. But I have say this the
skirt are toooo short. The background of the scene are well-chosen. It manage
to bring out the situation and the setting that they faces. The song are very
closely related to the storyline. It is giving a general feeling of the anime.
Overall, this anime is worth watching. This interesting plot
and HD quality of videos are well animated. This story will not be the just the
usual storyline of the two people fall in love (common in anime).
Hello, today I will
be introducing you one of my all-time favorite anime series. Well this anime is
actually ongoing but it is linked to other two series that shares the same
name. Kuroshitsuji:
Book of Circus is the anime. This anime is in the Victorian-era Europe which depicts a story
about young boy named Ciel Phantomhive who have made a deal with a demon (who became his butler named Sebastian Michaelis after the contract is sealed)
with his soul for revenge on people who have humiliated him and killed both of
his parents. Due to the death of his parents, he succeeded his family named at
the tender age of 12 handling
his familybusiness affairs along with his family’s secret identity which asthe Queen’s guard dog.
As the guard dog, he have to handle underground work - serial
killers, drugs, illegal
immigrants whatsoever. Besides Sebastian, he too recruited three more servants (
Bardroy- chef, Finnian- Gardener. Mey-rin – maid). However, these three
servants always messes up their work in some way or another but they all have
special abilities. Interested in knowing what abilities they have? It’s a
secret. You should find it out yourself.
The above summary is
just about the beginner's information, this particular Book of Circus series, it reflects
only on Noah’s Ark Circus Arc from the original manga. It is about a travelling circus arriving London for
their circus performance, however there are signs of missing children from the
cities they have visited and performed during the period of them at those
cities. This made the Queen to be concerned about the children in London would
be the next batch of children who will get missing. In order to solve the Queen’s concern,
Ciel would have infiltrate into the Noah’s Ark Circus to find out the missing
children. Did he succeed in finding those children? Stay tuned to this anime
series to find out.
Okay, time for my
reviews. Well, as I have said before this is my all-time favorite anime series.
As this story have a hint of supernatural and along with a large splash of humor which sparks
my interest and attracted me. Firstly, Ciel is so adorable
that I have the urged to cuddle him (if he is real) and Sebastian
is so handsome and his famous line “I’m one hell of a butler” and “Yes, My
Lord” have made him more than plain charming, in addition his loved for cats is on a different level from other fellow anime cat lovers. Because of Sebastian, my fear for demon is overwritten. Well, how can a demon this hot be scary?
Secondly, this
ongoing anime series have comedic scenes that made me laugh heartily. For
example:
Thirdly, I seriously
hate those people who used Ciel as a sacrificial lamb to summon a demon for
their own wishes but they did not succeed as the one that summon the demon is
Ciel which gave him the opportunity to get revenge for his parents.
The arts of this
series is getting defined than the previous two seasons. However, I still
prefer the first season's illustration as it looks better and not as bright and
light-colored as this new series.

FUN FACT: Ciel Phantomhive is actually voiced acted by a female voice actor. So I’m sure
that you will be shocked when you heard his voice as his voiced doesn’t sounds
like a female at all.
One more thing, the
ending songs for these Kuroshitsuji series are my favorites. As they give the
listeners a feeling of the despair and emptiness the main characters are feeling.
Despite the fact that
this is the third series of Kuroshitsuji, it does not have much links with the
first two series as this series is adapted from the manga while the first two
series have only adapt some parts from the manga and the rest of the storylines are not linked to the manga thus you can watch this series
without the knowledge of the previous two. Here is the teaser of this series.

My Review
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is an anime adaptation of the manga "Fullmetal Alchemist". The comedic, action-adventure anime has a good storyline as it is filled with conspiracies and plot twist that will blow your mind. The anime is also filled with memorable fighting scenes and comedic scenes that will make you laugh hard. The flow of the storyline is good as it has sufficient amount of time and episodes to tell the story. I was able to understand the storyline as the details given in the anime was sufficient. However, the anime tends to be “draggy” as it can take up more episodes when it can be told in just a few episodes. Despite it being “draggy”, the fighting scenes and comedic scenes makes the anime much better. Overall, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is a good anime with a great storyline and I would highly recommend you to watch, especially teenagers. I rate this anime 8.5 / 10.
*Human transmutation is to bring back a person from the dead by using alchemy.
This anime has been ongoing for a long time. You may even
feel ridiculous; why are these old grandfather stories still ongoing? The anime
have started since 1994, three year before I was born. At the start of the
series, the main character was being poison and he shrunk as a result. This
anime is mainly about the person who is Conan (the kid) attempt to return to
Kudo (the teenager), which is his true form.
In my opinion, this anime was a very good example of a
detective genre anime. The writer successfully writes the plot in a way how the
mystery was created, the process of the crime and reasoning of who the murderer
is. The writer have to consider the way to explaining the process of the crime
and the way to do it is to proof who is the culprit is. However, it is a bit
sad. I believe that there is a rush to create the episodes. The writer have
slight neglect the motive of the crime. The reasoning of the motive of the
crime is not too well developed and did not fully explain the background stories.
That is what I personally feel sad about.
Looking at the anime from the first episode to the latest
one, it is like walking down the path of the animation from ancient technology
in the 1990’s to now. At that time, the animation and quality are not as good
as now.
They also have movies and special Sunday episodes which are
also fairly enjoyable to watch. The anime is pretty long as there are many
years of episodes. The movie and the specials are much better compared to the
normal episodes as the explanation is better and clearer. Overall, the anime is
best in the plot except for certain parts of it and animation style is slowly
improving.
